What are cookies?

Cookies are text data files that are sent by web servers to web browsers. They are stored on users’ devices and are used by web servers to identify the devices and then to display websites customized to user’s preferences. Cookies usually contain the source website name, information on storage time and a unique identifier.

Cookies are used to customize website content to user’s preferences and to maintain communication session (when logged in) so that the user does not have to log in again on each service subpage.

Types of cookies we use

Two types of cookies are used: session and persistent. Session cookies are temporary files, which are erased when the user logs out or closes the browser. Persistent cookies remain saved on the device until deleted manually or the browser deletes them based on the duration period contained within the persistent cookie file.

Do cookies store personal information?

Personal information stored in cookies is used exclusively to perform actions requested by the user.

Deleting cookies
